Freqax, Freqkid – The Giver

For this single, Adrian Andrei floats roughly between two musical worlds – and he does this with his two monikers Freqax for Drum and Bass and Freqkid for more experimental music.

Let’s start with the Drum and Bass track. “Giver” is a progressive sci-fi track with several sounds that seem to run in opposite directions, which in a very clever way create a compelling groove. The strings synth also gives the tune a floating character.

In “Lucid Dream” he naturally throttles the BPM as Freqkid, but not the intensity of the bass drum, which progresses stoically here. A melancholy melody joins the trippy basic character of the song, which could serve as a suitable soundtrack for a farewell to whatever. Definitely not from Adrian. You will soon hear him again on UTM Records!
